To use smart, clear, purposeful design to create more meaningful connections between individuals, technologies, organizations, and systems
Solves a problem, without introducing a new one
Performs a service in a purposeful way, without distraction
Feels intuitive, without needing an introduction
Is nearly invisible and rarely discussed!
I left the town of Newport News, VA to pursue my deranged dream of becoming a 2am radio DJ at Florida State’s WVFS Tallahassee, where I’d spin CDs through the night — and somehow still make it to 9am French. Since then, I’ve adopted a more traditional work schedule and have used all those extra hours of sleep to produce creative content for Slate, Eater, MarketWatch, and Moneyish in New York City.
Most recently, I wrapped up my MFA in Communications Design at Pratt Institute, started a fledgling solo design practice, and moved to West Philadelphia with my partner, Alyssa, and the cat, Wilbur.
I split my time between The Fire Works coworking space above Dock Street Brewery and my home studio, where Wilbur and I try not annoy each other too much.
Schedule a preliminary workshop with me and let’s get started!
