A neighborhood utility company needed a digital home base on Squarespace.

The St. Joe Company, a real estate development company in Northwest Florida, needed a low-lift website for a utility company serving one of their residential developments. This was a utility site in the truest sense — it didn't need heavy design or a long build. I'd worked with St. Joe before on smaller projects (map updates, property signage), so I already had a baseline familiarity with their brand ecosystem and could hit the ground running.
I worked with Margaret Thompson, the company's Director of Marketing and a dear friend, to establish a tight, basic brand identity from scratch. We met to talk through the utility service, its residents, and the project's goals, and I distilled that discovery into concrete recommendations for fonts, colors, and site layout.
We kept the process lean with just one round of review — which was made possible thanks to Margaret, who had all the copy and photography ready for me to drop straight into the build. I designed the site in Squarespace, knowing Margaret and her team would maintain it going forward, so the platform needed to give them everything they'd need without a developer on call.
The result was an efficient process and a final site that's clean, professional, and easy to run.
